StEP Leadership Positions
Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for organizing activities and coordinating the effort of the leadership team in accordance with the goals and mission of StEP.
Moreover, the PM needs to define metrics in order to assess the strengths of StEP and promptly identify gaps and areas of improvement. The PM is the key reference point for the StEP's stakeholders and defines the high-level strategy for the program's expansion and success.
Head of Content
The Head of Content is responsible for the definition of the content and its delivery in each stage of the StEP's process. In Stage 1, the Head of Content will define the content and delivery of the introductory videos provided to the participants whereas, in Stage 2, he or she will define how to tailor the curriculum of the 10-week program to the needs of deep-tech dual-use ventures.
Responsibilities include defining intermediate and final milestones for the teams, structuring the interaction process with the mentors and coaches, and managing the interactions with speakers and faculty members that will contribute in different sessions of StEP.
Lead of Communications
The Lead of Communications is responsible for all of StEP's communications, whether they are to the startups that are going through the program (ensuring deadlines, sessions, resources, deliverable and other are clear to everybody) or to the rest of the stakeholders, including community management.
Head of BI & Analytics
The Head of BI & Analytics designs and maintains the tools and processes to track the teams’ milestones and monitor StEP's KPIs. Moreover, key responsibilities include setting up and sharing regular reports with the rest of the leadership team to monitor relevant metrics, managing risks, and facilitating the decision making process.
This is one of the key roles, as it does not only allow us to better deliver our results to key stakeholders, but it also ensures continuous improvement based on data. This paves the path towards a successful StEP program.
Lead of Partnerships
The Lead of Partnerships manages the relationship with existing and prospective partners either within or outside of the campus.
Key responsabilities include mapping the universe of potential partnership opportunities, liasing with key DoD representatives, ensuring the constant interaction with commercial partners, and coordinating with the Head of Content and Lead of Communications to provide content crucial in building and strengthening the relationship with internal and external partners.
